Job summary

RCBC Leasing and Finance Corporation is seeking an Asset Management Officer to oversee repossessed asset monitoring, disposal, and related documentation. You will coordinate with branches, valuation teams, and marketing for compliance and client satisfaction.

The role requires a college degree with at least 5 years in asset management, plus strong negotiation and initiative to drive efficient asset recovery and risk reduction within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Asset Disposal & Sales: Monitor repossessed assets, source buyers, and manage disposal process.
• Ownership Transfer & Documentation: Facilitate ownership transfers and ensure complete documentation for accounts endorsed to Asset Management.
• Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with branches and departments for valuations, storage sourcing, and client documents.
• Client Negotiation & Support: Negotiate with defaulting clients and support lawyers or the Legal Division Head as needed.

The Asset Management Officer is responsible for overseeing the monitoring and disposal of repossessed assets. Operating within the Asset Recovery Division, this role reports directly to the Asset Recovery Division Head and supervises the Asset Management Assistant.

How Will You Contribute

• Asset Disposal & Sales: Monitor repossessed assets, proactively source potential buyers, and manage the property disposal process.
• Ownership Transfer & Documentation: Facilitate the legal transfer of ownership of properties to the company and ensure complete documentation for accounts endorsed to Asset Management.
• Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with company branches and internal departments—including CI/Appraisal for property valuations and storage facility sourcing, and Marketing/Documentation for required client documents.
• Client Negotiation & Support: Negotiate with defaulting clients as needed and execute additional duties assigned by lawyers or the Legal Division Head.
