Job summary

ING is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst to bridge business and technology across Asia, translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions for multiple markets.

You will collaborate with teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Manila, Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai on regional regulatory initiatives, transformation programs, and critical reporting needs, ensuring accurate data, timelines, and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience in regulatory reporting.
• Strong understanding of wholesale banking products and financial markets.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Experience performing data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Proven experience in software testing, impact analysis, and regression testing.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against regulatory deadlines.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Support implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements and enhancements.
• Conduct impact assessments and manage testing activities, including regression testing and quality assurance.
• Partner with business stakeholders, end users, and technology teams across multiple locations.
• Support strategic finance and regulatory reporting transformation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve business analysis processes, tools, and documentation standards.
• Contribute to Agile delivery as part of a regional DevOps team.
