Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines is seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Platform Engineer to join our global teams across Asia. You will design, develop, and support data and applications that enable regulatory reporting, build robust ETL pipelines, and ensure compliance with audit and security standards.

The role emphasizes translating regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with teams in Singapore, India, and Manila to continuously improve system performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and application development experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS and ETL development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments and working with global teams.

We're looking for an experienced RRP Engineer who thrives on solving complex data challenges, building reliable solutions, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced international environment.

What You’ll Do

As an RRP Engineer, you will design, develop, and support data and application solutions that enable regulatory reporting across multiple markets in Asia. Working closely with colleagues in Singapore, India, and Manila, you will

• Design, develop, and maintain database and application components using SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSIS.
• Build and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure applications meet quality, audit, risk, and security standards.
• Manage CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps, YAML, and Git repositories.
• Support application governance, risk management, and information security initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while continuously improving system performance.
• Coach team members and contribute to building technical excellence within the squad.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and application development experience.
• Strong expertise in:

  • Database optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global teams.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SSAS and SSRS.
• Front-end application or web development experience.
• PowerShell and YAML scripting experience.
• Knowledge of information security, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Banking or regulatory reporting experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
