Responsibilities
- Designing electrical systems (layouts, load calculations, and code compliance).
- Coordinating project plans with other engineers, managing electrical work schedules, and reviewing technical specifications.
- Supervising installation of electrical systems, ensuring quality control and safety standards.
- Testing and commissioning electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, and finalizing system readiness.
- Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance with local laws, obtaining necessary permits, and conducting safety audits.
- Documenting progress with detailed reports and updating as-built drawings.
- Providing post-construction maintenance support and recommending system upgrades.
- Managing costs and assisting with procurement of materials.
- Staying updated on industry trends, maintaining certifications, and ensuring continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Licensing: A Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license from the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) is an advantage.
- Experience: 1-3 years of field experience in electrical installations, design, and project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit Etch.), knowledge of electrical systems, and understanding of the Philippine Electrical Code.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and attention to detail.
- Safety Knowledge: Understanding of electrical safety standards and environmental considerations.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to professional development and staying updated on industry changes.
