Job summary

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to join our Mall of Asia facility in Pasay City.

This full-time role focuses on designing, implementing, and overseeing electrical systems across our operations to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. You will conduct site assessments, prepare drawings, supervise installation and testing, and provide mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Valid PEE license or equivalent in the Philippines.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–1 years of professional electrical engineering experience; exposure to commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software, CAD, and project management tools.
• In-depth understanding of Philippine electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site inspections.
• Preferred experience with facilities management, HVAC integration, or renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, layouts, and specifications for projects and upgrades.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for electrical requirements.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD/tools.
• Perform inspections and maintenance audits; recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Maintain records of systems, modifications, and maintenance activities.
