Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking a skilled Server Engineer to join the Asia Pacific regional IS Services team. The role concentrates on maintaining Linux and Windows server environments, virtualization with VMware and AHV, and securing scalable infrastructure across multiple platforms.

You will troubleshoot issues, plan upgrades, and implement automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher in IT-related area.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in IT-related field.
Proven experience as a Server Engineer or Systems Administrator in Linux and Windows environments.
In-depth knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and Windows Server OS.
Strong networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, certificates.
Hands-on with virtualization (VMware, AHV).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills, fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows server infrastructure.
Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize availability.
Troubleshoot server issues including hardware and software problems.
Plan and implement upgrades, migrations, and capacity expansions.
Implement security measures to protect server infrastructure.
Automate tasks with scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and CM tools.
Document configurations and best practices for knowledge sharing.
