Remitly is seeking a Philippines and Vietnam Business Development Manager to lead strategic partnerships and payments initiatives across the region. You will collaborate with product, legal, marketing, operations and finance to launch and evolve partnerships with banks, processors, wallets and other third parties.

The role requires 10+ years in partnerships with 3–5 years in payments, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel as needed to build and manage regional partnerships.

Competenze

• 10+ years of strategic partnerships / business development experience, with 3–5 years in payments.
• Robust understanding of consumer payments and cross-border money movements.
• Demonstrated cross-functional communication with commercial, product, legal and compliance teams.
• Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and curious—translate learnings into strategies.
• Action-oriented, strategic leader across opportunities and environments.
• Experience and willingness to travel, potentially extensively.
• BS/BA required, MBA highly desirable.

• Drive regional strategy with the BD lead.
• Own and drive initiatives with key strategic partners (banks, payments processors, wallets).
• Negotiate renewals, amendments, economics and expand product footprint with partnerships.
• Oversee contract negotiations and execution with cross-functional teams.

• Stay informed about regulatory changes and market developments impacting partnerships.
