Job summary

Angkas in Manila is seeking a Regional Growth Lead to analyze marketplace performance and drive operational improvements across riders, drivers, and demand. You will build dashboards, identify gaps, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Collaborate with City Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Data teams to optimize unit economics, incentives, and reliability, while maintaining flexibility across onsite/remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or related quantitative field.
• 1–4 years of experience in business operations, strategy, analytics, or similar role; ride-hailing/logistics/marketplace experience is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL for querying large datasets.
• Familiarity with BI/visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable narratives.
• Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to conduct field visits to understand on-ground operations.
• Experience designing or evaluating incentive/pricing programs.
• Background in a high-growth startup or marketplace business.
• Knowledge of local transportation regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor marketplace metrics and performance across riders, drivers, and demand.
• Build and maintain dashboards (SQL, Excel/Sheets, BI tools) for city and national performance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis when metrics deviate.
• Translate data into actionable insights for operations and leadership.
• Analyze supply-demand imbalances and advise incentive and recruitment strategies.
• Model cost, uplift, and ROI for incentive programs.
• Collaborate with City Operations to execute localized interventions.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and design improved SOPs.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and support QBRs.
• Maintain a single source of truth for key metrics across teams.
• Work with Finance on unit economics and payout accuracy.
• Engage with Marketing on promo effectiveness and retention analysis.
• Coordinate with Product/Engineering to address system issues affecting ops.
• Support Trust & Safety with fraud pattern detection and policy refinements.
• Contribute to strategic projects like new city launches and service line feasibility.
