Job summary

Operation Smile is seeking a Center Patient Coordinator in Cebu City, Philippines, with regular travel across Cebu and nearby provinces. The role supports registry setup and patient tracking for cleft care, coordinating with community leaders and partners to ensure patients access comprehensive services.

The successful candidate will assist with registration campaigns, patient logistics, and sustaining strong relationships with patients and local stakeholders in the Visayan Region.

Responsibilities

• Community and Partner Outreach – Set up meetings at hospitals and clinics across the region and identify point people at each facility; access existing community health worker structures to implement cleft awareness programs; set up meetings with traditional authorities; manage region wide community mobilization; meet with NGOs and community based organizations to partner on patient recruitment or sponsorship.
• Patient Registration and Program Support – Register patients with full names, contact numbers and location, coordinate travel to the program site; organize patient arrivals during programs; assist with patient logistics (food, shelter, water, transport, reimbursements); build relationships with patients and escalate needs; create patient return lists after announcements and ensure transportation home.
• Data and Documentation – Create and maintain a database of all contacts within each province covered.
