Job summary

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We are seeking an experienced HR Recruitment Supervisor to lead recruitment activities for head office and pawnshop branches. The role will oversee the hiring process, develop effective sourcing strategies, and coordinate with department heads to fill vacancies with qualified candidates who align with the company’s requirements and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise end-to-end recruitment, from manpower requisition and candidate sourcing to screening, interviews, job offers, and onboarding coordination.




• Work with department heads and regional operations leaders to establish hiring priorities, staffing requirements, and recruitment timelines.




• Review job descriptions and qualifications to ensure they reflect each position’s responsibilities.




• Manage job advertisements, recruitment platforms, employee referrals, recruitment partners, and other sourcing channels.




• Conduct initial interviews and assess candidates’ experience, competencies, and alignment with company culture.




• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and consolidate feedback to support timely hiring decisions.




• Oversee reference checks, pre-employment requirements, and background verification through approved procedures.




• Prepare and coordinate job offers within approved compensation guidelines.




• Maintain an organized candidate database, recruitment tracker, and talent pool for recurring vacancies.




• Monitor recruitment performance, including time to fill, sourcing effectiveness, offer acceptance, and hiring costs.




• Supervise and coach recruitment personnel, ensuring consistent screening standards and a professional candidate experience.




• Coordinate onboarding schedules and handover of new-hire documents to the appropriate HR personnel.




• Prepare recruitment reports and recommend improvements to hiring processes.




• Handle applicant information confidentially and follow company policies on recruitment documentation and data privacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.




• At least three years of relevant recruitment experience, including one year in a supervisory or team leadership role.




• Experience recruiting for pawnshops, lending, financial services, retail, or businesses with multiple branches is strongly preferred.




• Proven ability to manage simultaneous vacancies for branch personnel, specialists, supervisors, and managers.




• Strong knowledge of candidate sourcing, competency-based interviewing, screening, and recruitment reporting.




• Experience using JobStreet, other recruitment platforms, applicant tracking tools, and Microsoft Excel.




• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and organizational skills.




• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.




• Willingness to attend recruitment events and visit branches as needed.




• Available to work on-site in Ortigas, Pasig City, Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
