Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a global manufacturing client to recruit a Rebate Specialist for the shared services finance team in Makati. The role focuses on processing customer rebates and deviation pricing contracts, ensuring rebates are issued accurately and on time in collaboration with the Pricing team.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience in rebates, credits or pricing, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP), and excellent written English for email communications.

Qualifications

• Experience with rebates, credits, pricing or customer service is preferred.
• Strong written English and communication skills are essential for email-based work.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound business judgment.
• Experience with SAP or Vendavo is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly customer rebates and deviation pricing contracts.
• Enter and verify rebate credits, including pricing checks.
• Maintain and audit open chargebacks and credits in the pricing/ERP system.
• Investigate and resolve rebate discrepancies, including negative rebates.
• Generate and distribute monthly/weekly pricing reports to distributors.
• Respond to rebate- and pricing-related inquiries from sales teams via email.
• Support process improvement initiatives for the rebate function.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is looking for a Rebate Specialist to join their shared services finance team. This role processes customer rebates and deviation pricing contracts, working closely with the Pricing team to ensure rebate credits are issued accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly customer rebates and deviation pricing contracts
• Enter and verify rebate credits, including pricing checks
• Maintain and audit open chargebacks and credits in the pricing/ERP system
• Investigate and resolve rebate discrepancies, including negative rebates
• Generate and distribute monthly/weekly pricing reports to distributors
• Respond to rebate- and pricing-related inquiries from sales teams (primarily via email, with occasional calls)
• Support process improvement initiatives for the rebate function
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience (Rebate, Credit, Pricing, or Customer Service background preferred)
• Comfortable using existing Excel macros and lookup formulas (VLOOKUP, etc.) — no need to build macros from scratch
• Strong written English and communication skills — this role is largely email-based
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and exercise sound business judgment
• Open to any industry background (manufacturing background not required)
• SAP and/or Vendavo experience is a plus, not required
• Business or Accounting degree preferred, but not required

Work Setup

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Makati, 2 days work-from-home
• Fixed night shift aligned to US business hours — required
