We are looking for a Rebar Engineer to supervise and monitor rebar works for our construction projects. The role is responsible for rebar planning, quantity take-off, costing, coordination, and ensuring compliance with approved structural plans, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Review structural drawings, rebar details, and bar bending schedules
Prepare rebar quantity take-offs, estimates, and material requirements
Assist in costing, budgeting, and monitoring of rebar-related works
Supervise and monitor rebar installation and fabrication activities
Ensure proper rebar size, spacing, placement, lap length, and anchorage
Coordinate with project engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers
Monitor rebar consumption, wastage, deliveries, and inventory
Conduct inspections and verify rebar works before concrete pouring
Prepare progress reports and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage
Experience in rebar works, quantity take-off, and costing
Knowledge of structural drawings, bar bending schedules, and rebar detailing
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity estimation
Experience in high-rise, vertical, or structural projects is an advantage
Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Willing to work on-site and be assigned to different project locations
