General Duties and Responsibilities
- Review structural and architectural plans, including precast drawings.
- Ensure that controlled copies of the latest approved documents and drawings are distributed to appropriate staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, as applicable.
- Perform rebar requisitions and ensure timely delivery to the project site.
- Secure approved copies of cutting list diagrams.
- Check material fabrication based on approved measurements.
- Provide instructions to Foremen, Leadmen, and Steelmen on the proper installation of rebars.
- Monitor the delivery and availability of all rebar requirements in coordination with site stock clerks.
- Evaluate and verify work accomplishments based on submitted billings.
- Prepare rebar status reports for monitoring and updating purposes.
- Interpret and implement plans and specifications accurately.
- Prepare and submit necessary documents and reports required by management.
- Coordinate rebar-related tasks with engineers from other disciplines.
- Schedule and coordinate rebar works in relation to formworks and concreting activities.
- Ensure the implementation of quality plans and objectives within the assigned section.
- Ensure strict compliance with approved cutting lists and plans.
- Implement quality control measures for assigned works.
- Enforce environmental, health, safety, and security regulations within the area of responsibility.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification and Skills Requirement
Educational Attainment:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Construction Engineering or any related field.
- Preferably licensed.
Work Experience:
- 0–1 year of experience in the construction or real estate industry.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software.
- Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and industry standards.
