Job summary

Relx Plc in Manila is seeking a General Accountant responsible for general ledger activities, month-end close, and financial reporting within the R2R framework. You will post journal entries, reconcile balances, and support internal controls and audits.

Collaborating with AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management, intercompany, tax, and treasury teams, you will ensure accurate recording of transactions and timely closing. A CPA or equivalent is preferred, with 1–2 years in general accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 1–2 years of experience in General Accounting/Record-to-Report (R2R).
• CPA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Perform month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support intercompany accounting and fixed assets reconciliations.
• Assist with financial reporting and audit requirements.
