RELX Group is seeking a General Accountant in Manila to support general ledger activities, month-end closes, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will post journal entries, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Tax teams to ensure accurate financial records.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in General Accounting, General Ledger, or Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Perform month-end close activities and prepare accruals/prepayments.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage intercompany accounting reconciliations and adjustments.
• Support fixed assets, depreciation, and asset reconciliations.
• Assist in financial reporting and audit requests.
• Ensure internal controls and SOX compliance where applicable.
• Identify process improvements and standardize accounting procedures.
