MC GEOMETRIC PROPORTIONS INC. – together we build is seeking a Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor to manage financial and contractual aspects of civil infrastructure projects from planning through completion.

The role requires extensive experience in earthworks and heavy construction, with a focus on precise cost estimation and reliable reporting. The ideal candidate will lead tendering, procurement, contract administration, and value engineering while maintaining strict budgets and schedules,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 8+ years of experience in civil works, earthworks, or heavy construction.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, estimating software, and reading engineering blueprints.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and numerical analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Take-offs: Calculate material, labor, and equipment quantities from civil engineering drawings.
• Tendering & Procurement: Prepare tender packages, bills of quantities, and evaluate subcontractor bids.
• Contract Administration: Manage contract variations, assess progress claims, and handle valuations.
• Financial Reporting: Monitor budgets, forecast costs, and prepare cash flow projections.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving alternatives without lowering quality or safety standards.
