A leading engineering firm in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to support the Acquisition Phase of Projects. Responsibilities include reviewing plans, conducting site surveys, and creating detailed project cost proposals. This role supports the Acquisition (Initiation and Planning) Phase of Projects by reviewing approved plans, conducting Site Surveys, and coordinating with Design Teams.

Job Overview

• Experienced Professional will be assigned to handle tasks to support the Acquisition (Initiation and Planning) Phase of Projects which shall include, review of approved issued plans, conducting Site Surveys and coordination with the Design Team. Will be responsible in the creation Project Cost Proposals – including detailed BOQ’s, BOM’s and Detailed Material Breakdowns; and other Bid Submissions related to cost and resource concerns.

Job Qualifications and Responsibilities

· Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer, a VALID PRC license is a plus but not required

· At least 2 years of hand-on experience as Quantity Surveyor or Estimator for Electrical Systems

• Low to Medium Voltage Systems including Equipment Installations; or Mechanical Systems
• HVAC and PACU Installation

· Knowledge in ELV or Auxiliary Systems is an advantage

· Good grasp in Design Fundamentals, Current Industry Standards and Codes

· Knowledgeable in reading and interpreting Electrical Plans and Mechanical Plans and other Plans relevant to the project, Technical specifications, Terms of Reference and Bid documents

· conducting Site Surveys for Costing References

· Capable of creating Bill of Materials, Bill of Quantities for Electrical and/or Mechanical Works. Knowledge or Exposure to CSA Field is a Plus

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal is a must, capable of Multi-level Client interfacing and must be able to carry and present himself with utmost professionalism specially when on duty

· May be assigned other tasks as deemed necessary to support main assigned responsibilities
