Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction quantity surveying or cost estimation.
• Experience in land development, civil works, building construction, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and project costing.
• Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying/cost-estimating software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work on-site and travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, estimates, and cost calculations for construction projects.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, BOQ, and other contract documents.
• Prepare and evaluate Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Monitor project costs, quantities, and material usage.
• Prepare progress billing, variation orders, and cost reports.
• Assist in tendering, bidding, and subcontractor evaluation.
• Conduct site measurements and verify actual quantities of completed works.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Engineers, Procurement, Accounting, and Site Team.
• Monitor project budget and identify cost variances.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, contracts, and project documentation.
