Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to manage contracts and project costs, including duration studies, labor costs, and material cost analysis. You will advise on contractual issues and help optimize value for construction projects.

Responsibilities include examining plans, coordinating with site managers and stakeholders, preparing reports and budgets, and traveling to multiple sites as needed to ensure accurate cost control and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years’ proven work experience in a relevant industry.
• Experience in construction estimating and/or finance.

Responsibilities

• Examine and review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.
• Coordinate with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Gather and prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and related documents.
• Provide advice and recommendations to managers and clients on improvements and strategies.
• Document changes in design and update budgets as required.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel to various sites as required.

Qualifications:
