Job summary

ARTON Design + Construction is seeking a full-time on-site Quantity Surveyor based in Pasay to prepare and review BOQs, estimates, and cost plans for residential and commercial projects. You will track costs, monitor budgets, prepare cost reports, and support tendering and contract administration on-site with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include validating quantities, managing variations, and contributing to value engineering and cost-management improvements throughout the project

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Pasay. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), estimates, and cost plans for residential and commercial projects. Daily responsibilities include tracking project costs, monitoring budget performance, preparing cost reports, and supporting tendering, bidding, and contract administration. The role involves coordinating with project managers, designers, and contractors to validate quantities, manage variations, and ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to value engineering, risk assessment, and the continuous improvement of cost management processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off for residential and commercial projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Cost Planning and Cost Management to develop budgets and maintain financial control across project phases.
• Candidates should possess skills in Cost Control and Cost Reporting to monitor expenditures, manage variations, and provide accurate financial updates.
• Relevant experience in construction or architectural firms, preferably in high-end residential or commercial fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimating software; familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
