Job summary

Active Group Realty Development Corporation in Makati is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to join as an estimator on-site. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in estimating horizontal and vertical projects and a full-time commitment.

You will maintain project costing, perform quantity take-offs, monitor costs, and manage ERP for procurement and contract encoding. Collaboration with designers and site engineers is essential, with seminars on cost estimation updates expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; licensed Civil Engineer.
• 3-5 years of experience in estimating horizontal and vertical projects.
• On-site role in Makati; full-time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain costing of all related project costing.
• Perform quantity take-offs for land development and vertical structures.
• Handle quantity take-offs for change orders and site instructions.
• Attend seminars for updates on cost estimation.
• Check completeness of plans and specifications and coordinates with architecture department prior to estimating.
• Update estimated project cost based on current materials cost.
• Monitor actual cost of project assigned.
• Collate cost estimates of each item work for a particular project.
• Maintain cost data and labor productivity rates and update on a regular basis.
• Recommend alternative solutions to Architect/s based on cost implication.
• Manage the ERP software for procurement monitoring and job contracts.
• Encode Bill of Quantities in ERP.
• Attend coordination meeting with designers and project site engineers.
• Attend to other tasks as may be assigned.

• Responsible for updates on estimated project cost based on current materials cost on assigned cost.
