Qualifications

• Degree in Food Technology or Food Science or related field.
• Experience in QA/QC within food manufacturing or food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Daily QA/QC checks: monitor product quality, inspect ingredients, ensure finished goods look and taste right.
• Support Food Safety & HACCP: draft guidelines, SOPs, and good manufacturing habits for production.
• Keep documents organized: maintain plant documentation and audit-ready logs.
• Spearhead troubleshooting: identify non-conformances and implement quick fixes.
• Collaborate with R&D: ensure quality during new flavor runs and scale to production.

At Blitz Nutrition, we're building the next wave of healthy snacks as the Philippines' first local protein bar company. Over the past year, we've grown into a profitable brand with 500+ retail partners and hold the top-selling protein bar spot across Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. As we expand our operations, we're looking for a Quality Lead to help run our daily quality routines and assist in organizing our food safety practices at our Pampanga plant.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on food safety and wants to be part of an early-stage team. Rather than just following an old corporate playbook, you'll work closely with us to shape our daily QA/QC habits, organize our compliance documents, and help refine our HACCP routines as we grow.If you like being on the floor, keeping things organized, and having a real voice in how things are run, you'll fit right in.

• Daily QA/QC Checks: Keep an eye on day-to-day product quality, check raw ingredients, and ensure our finished products look and taste great before leaving the manufacturing plant.
• Support Food Safety & HACCP: Help us put together clear, simple HACCP guidelines, standard procedures, and good manufacturing habits for the production team.
• Keep Documents Organized: Help organize plant documentation, compliance files, and routine quality logs to aid in audit-readiness.
• Spearhead Troubleshooting Efforts: Work with the production floor to catch non-conformances early and figure out quick, practical fixes.
• Team Up with R&D: Collaborate with our product team during new flavor runs to make sure quality stays consistent from test batches to full production.
• Background: Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field (Licensed Food Technologist is a plus!).
• Experience: Some practical experience in QA/QC within food manufacturing or food preparation.
• Mindset: Neat, detail-oriented, and open-minded - someone who enjoys organizing processes and working hands-on.
• Familiarity: Basic knowledge or background in HACCP principles and GMP guidelines.
• Location: Based in or able to work on-site at San Fernando, Pampanga.
