Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Control Engineer for its Sriperumbudur, Tamilnadu site. You will ensure product quality throughout manufacturing, support ERP-driven processes, audits, and documentation, and maintain quality records.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background with 3–6 years of QC experience, familiarity with ERP, drawings, and inspection tools, and fluency in English and Tamil.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of quality control experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, reading engineering drawings, inspection tools, and MS Office; English and Tamil.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely GRN clearance in ERP.
• Support production order closing activities in ERP.
• Follow up on all rejected parts/materials and maintain records.
• Provide support for ISO, customer, and other compliance audits.
• Prepare and circulate pending GRN and PPM reports every Friday.
• Maintain GRN clearance data in tracking sheets.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and quality management systems.
