Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead PQC, OBA, OQC, IPQC, and Repair activities, ensuring robust quality plans across inspections and repairs. The role requires coordinating with Production, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3–5 years in manufacturing quality, with strong knowledge of QC tools and SAP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in quality engineering/quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of QC principles, standards, and CI practices.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with UPS products and IPC/ESD awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PQC, OBA, OQC, IPQC, and Repair teams with scheduling and manpower rotation.
• Implement and execute quality plans for inspections and repair activities.
• Monitor held materials and products and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution.
• Review and communicate inspection results to promote quality awareness.
• Identify nonconformities and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide coaching and performance guidance to team members.
• Support QMS and implement quality assurance processes.
• Develop inspection/testing procedures for materials and products.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Investigate customer complaints and determine root causes with cross-functional input.
• Conduct training on QC procedures and best practices.
