Job Description / Responsibilities:
During Product Development
- Assist in Developing Control Plans and Audit Checklists Prepares and formats control plans and process audit forms based on product specs and routing.
- Support Quality System Readiness Validation Confirms availability and completeness of inspection tools, calibration records, and training documentation for QA readiness.
- Identify and Document Critical to Quality & Parameters - Works with Engineering to list CTQ items and ensure they are captured in inspection plans.
- Prepare QA Documentation for Mass Production Sign-Off Compiles First Article Inspection results, inspection reports, and NCR status for QA sign-off submission.
- Prepare supplier audit checklist and document for supplier’s accreditation.
During Mass Production/Existing Product
- Monitor Internal and External Rejection Trends - Extracts data from NCR logs, inspection records, and warranty cases to analyze trends and generate reports.
- Document and Track Corrective Actions - Maintains corrective action database and follows up on due dates, updates, and closures.
- Participate in RCCA Investigations - Conducts initial defect analysis, prepares fishbone or 5 Whys, and drafts RCCA reports under the direction of QA Supervisor.
- Update and Maintain Quality Documentation - Revises control plans, inspection checklists, and quality procedures after approval of changes or corrective actions.
- Support Process and Product Audits - Prepares audit forms, participates in audits, and logs findings for internal and customer quality audits.
- Support Calibration and Gauge Management Activities - Monitors calibration schedules, files vendor certificates, and assists in traceability documentation.
- Assist in Warranty Case Analysis and Reporting Coordinates returned part inspection with QC and Engineering, and drafts initial reports for warranty root cause analysis.
- Coordinate Lessons Learned and Quality Alerts - Drafts and distributes quality alerts and lessons learned bulletins for internal teams based on QA Supervisor review.
- Generate and Submit QA KPI Reports - Prepares and updates QA performance dashboard and summary reports (FTT, PPM, rejection trends).
- Implies systemic changes (e.g., poka-yoke, training, control updates) based on NCRs and Audit findings.
- Prepare supplier audit checklist for Supplier annual performance audit.
- Maintain and control of non-conforming parts of supplier and create Material Rejection Report (MRR) and submit to supplier for follow up and update of status.
- Prepare ISO audit documents for Quality Management System of the company.
Skills
I. Technical Skill
- Understanding of electronic manufacturing processes (PCB, SMT, soldering)
- Basic mechanical and assembly knowledge
- Use of measuring tools and equipment (Caliper, micrometer etc.)
