DHL Express (Philippines) Corporation is seeking an OMS Champion to support the Operations Management System on site, coach leadership, and track OMS achievements. The role emphasizes quality audits, process improvement, and adherence to ISO 9001 standards.

Ideal candidates have a engineering or business background, 2+ years in quality assurance, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing/logistics

Qualifications

• College diploma or degree in engineering, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role in manufacturing, transport or logistics.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Experience in performance management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections and address non-conformities.
• Implement quality control measures to prevent issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality problems.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality metrics.
• Provide training on quality procedures to staff.
• Stay up-to-date with regulations, standards and quality management principles.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve quality systems and processes.
• Support implementation of the Operations Management System on site and track OMS achievements.
• Drive OMS principles and elements and maintain the OMS.
• Support management to maintain an organization that delivers results.
• Assist in Job Standardization and continuous improvement.
• Coach the team to ensure rules are followed to achieve success.
