Job summary

VBP is seeking a QA and Technical Team Lead to oversee QA Analysts and TSA staff, ensuring quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across all outputs. You will coach, develop, and evaluate team performance while driving continuous improvement in processes and reporting.

You will partner with stakeholders to stay current with industry updates, translate them into actionable guidance, and support capacity planning and resourcing for client projects.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in Paraplanning QA, TSA, or Senior Paraplanner/Financial Planning Assistant.
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong reporting and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to translate industry and regulatory updates into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support QA and Technical teams through daily huddles, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to meet quality and operational standards.
• Review and oversee QA and TSA output for accuracy and compliance.
• Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to identify trends and risks.
• Provide regular reporting to support capacity planning and visibility.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to improve onboarding and just-in-time learning.
• Contribute to training design and updates to reflect current quality issues.
• Identify process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Stay current with industry, fund, product, and regulatory updates and translate to team guidance.
• Escalate client-related feedback and risks to management promptly.
• Assist with resourcing recommendations for billable client projects.
• Maintain and integrate QA automation to reduce manual testing.
