Terra Solar Philippines, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure construction activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
You will inspect electrical, instrumentation, mechanical works, and related activities on-site to guarantee quality throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires coordinating with engineers and project teams, documenting quality records, and supporting audits.
The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities and installations are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
This position is responsible for conducting inspections, monitoring workmanship quality, verifying compliance with applicable standards, and supporting project teams in maintaining the highest level of quality throughout the construction phase. The role may cover electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and related construction works depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection and Quality Assurance
Conduct inspections of construction, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project standards.
Verify that materials, equipment, and installations meet quality requirements and approved project specifications.
Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to approved construction methodologies, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
Identify, document, and report non-conformities, defects, or workmanship issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
Participate in inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning activities as required.
Quality Control and Compliance
Ensure all project works comply with the Quality Management System (QMS), applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Review installation quality, workmanship, and construction activities to ensure conformance with project requirements.
Assist in implementing quality control procedures and inspection programs across project disciplines.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality-related concerns and prevent recurrence of issues.
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, punch lists, and supporting documentation.
Assist in compiling and reviewing quality dossiers, turnover packages, and as-built documentation.
Support internal and external quality audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, corrective actions, and verification activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or any related engineering field.
At least 3 years of relevant QA/QC inspection experience in construction, power, renewable energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Experience in solar, energy, power generation, or large-scale construction projects is an advantage.
Knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, testing requirements, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willing to be assigned on-site in Gapan, Nueva Ecija under a project-based employment arrangement.
