Job summary

Meralco PowerGen (MGEN) is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure construction activities and installations meet approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards. The role covers electrical, instrumentation, mechanical works as needed on site in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, and involves inspections, reporting, and coordinating corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of QA/QC inspection experience in power or infrastructure projects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related engineering field.
• At least 3 years of QA/QC inspection experience in construction, power, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in solar, energy, power generation, or large-scale construction is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Willing to be assigned on-site in Gapan, Nueva Ecija under a project-based employment arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of construction, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project standards.
• Verify materials, equipment, and installations meet quality requirements and project specifications.
• Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to inspection plans and quality procedures.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning activities as required.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, punch lists, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in quality dossiers, turnover packages, and as-built documentation; support audits.
