Job summary

Zenobuild&Co. Construction Services is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to conduct scheduled quality inspections across active construction projects, verifying compliance with plans, specifications, and workmanship standards.

You will identify defects, prepare NCRs, and coordinate with Project Engineers and Site Coordinators to drive timely rectifications. Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, photos, and rectification documentation, and assist with project turnover and warranty closeouts.

Qualifications

  • Experience performing QA/QC inspections on construction sites.
  • Ability to identify defects and deviations against plans and specs.
  • Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Willingness to travel between project sites.
  • Familiarity with NCR procedures and punchlisting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled quality inspections across active construction projects.
  • Check works against approved plans, specs, workmanship standards, and materials.
  • Identify defects, deviations, incomplete works, and nonconforming construction.
  • Prepare inspection reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Coordinate findings with Project Engineers and Site Coordinators.
  • Monitor corrective actions and verify rectification works.
  • Conduct and document punchlisting activities.
  • Assist in project turnover and quality closeout.
  • Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, photos, NCRs, and rectifications.
  • Conduct post-construction inspections for warranty concerns.
  • Evaluate whether reported concerns are potentially covered by warranty.
  • Investigate probable causes of defects or failures.
  • Prepare proposed rectification methods for management review.
  • Monitor and document approved warranty rectification works until completion.
  • Conduct periodic tools, equipment, and site inventory audits.
  • Assist with permit and project-document requirements when necessary.
  • Provide objective quality reporting directly to management.
  • Help improve construction quality standards, inspection checklists, and preventive practices based on recurring site findings.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering/Management, or a related technical course.

  • Construction site experience is strongly preferred.

  • Good understanding of construction methods, materials, workmanship, plans, and specifications.

  • Able to identify defects and document technical findings clearly.

  • Familiarity with QA/QC inspections, punchlisting, and NCR procedures is an advantage.

  • Strong documentation and report-writing skills.

  • Able and willing to travel between project sites.

  • Objective, observant, assertive, and professional when reporting quality issues.

  • Capable of coordinating corrective actions without compromising inspection independence.
