Job summary

J.C. Piñon Construction Inc. is seeking a QA/QC professional to ensure construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. You will document processes and report on quality performance on site.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, monitoring work, reviewing materials, and coordinating with project teams to minimize defects and ensure accurate ITPs, test records, and reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
• Experience in infrastructure, ports, marine, or heavy civil works is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, procedures, and inspection protocols.
• Experience in material testing, inspection, and documentation control.
• Experience in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC reports.
• Experience in Rehabilitation and Structural Retroftting works for infrastructures.

Responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, regulatory requirements and Management project directives.

Conducting inspections, monitoring site activities, reviewing materials and workmanship, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting of quality-related processes.

Works closely with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and consultants to maintain high-quality standards and minimize rework or defects.

• Solid udnerstanding of construction processes, methods and site operations.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, codes, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
• Good working knowledge of quality audits and root cause analysis.
