Zeroframe in Metro Manila is seeking a Site QA/QC Officer to ensure on-site installation works meet approved drawings, project specs, and Zeroframe quality standards. You will verify glass, aluminum, doors, windows, and curtain wall components from delivery through turnover, and actively identify defects before rework or client complaints.
The role requires hands-on inspection, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with project teams.
The Site QA/QC Officer is responsible for ensuring that all on-site installation works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, agreed standards, and Zeroframe quality requirements. The position focuses on the quality of glass, aluminum, doors, windows, shower enclosures, curtain walls, frameless systems, sliding doors, and other architectural installations from material delivery through final turnover. The Site QA/QC Officer must be hands‑on, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying defects before they become costly rework or client complaints.
Inspect materials upon arrival at the project site including glass panels, aluminum profiles, doors, windows, hardware, silicone, sealants, gaskets, curtain wall components, and sliding door components, verifying quantity, dimensions, type/specification, finish/color, condition, completeness, and visible damage
Document and report immediately any damaged, incorrect, or incomplete material
Before installation, verify actual site dimensions, opening dimensions, floor and wall conditions, level and plumb, required clearances, anchor/support locations, waterproofing conditions, work area readiness, and compatibility of delivered materials with approved drawings
Coordinate discrepancies with the Site Supervisor, Project Manager, Technical Team, and/or Client/Contractor before installation proceeds
Inspect ongoing installation to ensure compliance with approved drawings and installation procedures, checking proper positioning and alignment, level and plumb, glass clearance, aluminum alignment, frame installation, hardware installation, fasteners and anchors, silicone and sealant application, gaskets and setting blocks, door gaps and clearances, sliding movement, locking mechanisms, waterproofing/sealing, and protection of finished surfaces
Ensure glass is correct type and thickness, correct size and configuration, properly positioned, free from cracks and chips, free from scratches and unacceptable defects, properly supported, properly sealed, and installed with correct clearances
Check that doors and windows open and close properly, are properly aligned, have correct clearances, lock and unlock properly, have properly installed hardware, operate smoothly, have proper sealing, and have no unnecessary rubbing or binding
Prepare NCR / Quality Incident Report for significant deviations including wrong material, wrong dimension, installation outside approved specifications, damaged materials, poor workmanship, repeated installation errors, unauthorized modification, failure to follow approved drawings, and safety or quality-critical deficiencies
Conduct regular inspections and prepare punch lists, identifying, documenting, assigning, correcting, re-inspecting, and closing deficiencies before client/contractor final inspection
Before turnover, verify all doors and windows operate properly, sliding systems operate smoothly, locks and hardware function correctly, glass is clean and free from damage, aluminum surfaces are free from unacceptable scratches/dents, sealants are properly finished, all required components are installed, protection materials are removed appropriately, work area is clean, and punch-list items are closed
Submit daily or periodic reports containing project name, area/location inspected, work inspected, accomplishment, deficiencies found, corrective actions, materials received, installation status, photos, outstanding issues, recommendations, and items requiring management/client attention
Closely coordinate with Project Manager, Site Architect / Site Supervisor, Installation Team, Fabrication Team, Technical/Drafting Team, Warehouse, Procurement, Subcontractors, General Contractor, and Client/Consultant
Raise quality concerns immediately and prevent defective work from progressing
Graduate of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, or related course
Licensed Architect/Engineer is an advantage
At least 2 years of QA/QC, construction inspection, or site supervision experience
Experience in glass and aluminum installation is highly preferred
Knowledge of architectural drawings and shop drawings
Ability to conduct site measurements and inspections
Strong attention to detail
Good reporting and documentation skills
Strong communication and coordination skills
Willing to travel to different project sites
Can work under pressure and meet project deadlines
