We are looking for a Glass & Aluminum Project-In-Charge who will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing glass and aluminum projects from planning and preparation through installation and completion. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in glass facade, aluminium, curtain wall, or architectural glass works, with basic knowledge of AutoCAD (CAD).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day activities of glass and aluminum projects.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, suppliers, and installation teams.
- Review project plans, drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
- Assist in preparing and checking shop drawings, measurements, material take-offs, and project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and verify actual site measurements and conditions.
- Monitor project progress, schedule, manpower, materials, and installation activities.
- Ensure that glass and aluminum works are installed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the production and installation teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Identify and resolve site issues, discrepancies, and technical concerns.
- Prepare project updates, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure proper safety practices are followed at the project site.
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in glass facade, architectural glass, aluminum works, curtain wall, windows, doors, or related construction works.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/CAD is required.
- Able to read and understand architectural and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of glass and aluminum materials, systems, fabrication, and installation is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve site-related problems.
- Willing to conduct site visits and supervise installation works.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
