Job summary

Peter Bena Construction & Dev't. Corp. is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to lead quality assurance on construction projects. The role focuses on developing and enforcing the QMS, conducting inspections, and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

The successful candidate will have licensure as an architect or civil engineer, 3–5 years of supervisory QC experience, and proven ability to manage teams and report findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer or architect with professional registration.

• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience dealing with foreign nationals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Conduct quality inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and installations.
• Review and approve ITPs, Method Statements, and QC documentation.
• Develop QA/QC plans for construction projects and monitor compliance.
• Prepare inspection reports and document findings, defects, and corrective actions.
• Perform material testing and verification against requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and site teams on quality issues.
• Conduct site audits and inspections to identify deviations from plans.
• Maintain accurate records of QC activities and certifications.
• Liaise with clients and authorities on quality matters and compliance.
• Provide training and guidance on quality standards to site personnel.
• Support management with corrective actions and continuous improvement.

QA/QC Supervisor

Job Qualifications:

• Must be Licensed Architect or Licensed Civil Engineer
• Minimum of (3-5) years’ supervisory experience in quality control for construction projects, preferably in Commercial and Fit Out type
• Have experience dealing with foreign national
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and material testing.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and leadership skills; able to manage a team, multitask, prioritize workload, and ensure deadlines are met with minimal supervision.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills for effective coordination and reporting.
• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS)

2. Conduct comprehensive quality inspections and tests on construction materials, workmanship and completed installations

3. Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality documentation.

4. Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projects

5. Monitor compliance with project specifications, building codes, safety regulations and industry standards

6. Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation of findings, defects and corrective actions required

7. Perform material testing and verification to ensure all supplied materials meet specified requirements

8. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, site teams and management to address quality issues and implement corrective measures

9. Conduct site audits and inspections at various stages of construction to identify deviations from plans

10. Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities, test results and certifications

11. Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities regarding quality matters and compliance documentation.

12. Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
