Job summary

Amtech is seeking a QA Engineer II to own quality for assigned user stories and small features from review to release validation. You will design and execute comprehensive manual and automated tests, maintain Playwright automation coverage, and provide release-readiness input.

The role requires hands-on Agile delivery experience, API and database testing, automation development, and the responsible use of AI-assisted testing tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of software QA experience with manual and automated testing.
• Strong testing design, exploratory testing, and risk-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own testing activities for assigned user stories and features across the SDLC.
• Design and execute risk-based tests for functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Implement maintainable automation with reusable functions and page objects.
• Perform UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing of new functionality.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD and investigate failures in automated runs.
• Mentor Associate QA Engineers on test execution and automation practices.
