Job summary

Tangent Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Quality Assurance Support/Associate in the Philippines. The role focuses on data accuracy, detailed FQI of POS terminals, and escalation of issues to support the Quality Improvement Plan.

You will work with TSMS/Zoho Desk tools, report daily productivity, and collaborate with dispatch and preparation teams to ensure only compliant terminals are deployed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any four-year course (minimum required).
• Proficient in MS Office and basic data handling.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to spot minor defects.
• Analytical mindset to identify root causes of quality issues.
• Good communication of findings to supervisor.
• Willing to work shifting schedule.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes the accuracy and completeness of data and assets using a coding guide and checklist as references based on the required parameters and specifications with various terminal portals.
• Executes final quality inspection (FQI) of all POS terminals using the approved FQI List with FIFO approach to perform various FQI services.
• Identifies critical problems and issues encountered during the FQI and conducts proper escalation and documentation to support the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
• Ensures full understanding of In-Process Control Specification Framework for a successful inspection cycle.
• Endorses good POS terminals to FTS Dispatch and places devices to designated rack or the zoning method.
• Collaborates with the POS Preparation Team Leaders to correct errors.
• Returns all POS terminals that did not qualify for dispatch to POS Preparation as well as reports the final assessment using the Tangent Services Management System (TSMS) or Zoho Desk.
• Reports errors detected to CCIARCO-Core for verification and ensures continual improvement.
• Generates daily productivity report using a database or provided tool.
• Trained to use the TSMS, third party terminal management platform[s], and other relevant communication tools before performing the job duties.
• FQI processing is based on the standard checklist guide through the post-FQI method for all reprogramming services for both Maxstore and FT onsite services.
• Processes FQI for all terminal-related services based on the approved FQI standard list and turns it over to FTS for Manila and Logistics for provincial deployment.
