Qualifications

• 4+ years in quality assurance, quality control, internal audit, operational risk, or compliance monitoring, including at least 2 years in U.S. consumer lending, banking, credit cards, mortgages, buy-now-pay-later, or third-party collections.

Responsibilities

• Audit completed applications and underwriting decisions against credit policy, including identity, income, and employment verification.
• Audit servicing transactions for accuracy, including payment postings, debits, fees, refunds, and modifications.
• Audit collection activity: promises to pay, contact timing, settlements, and notes accuracy.
• Review servicing, collections, and inbound/outbound communications for disclosures, tone, and compliance.
• Lead calibration sessions and provide quality data to managers for coaching.
• Identify control gaps and recommend preventive actions.
