Responsibilities

• Supervise the purchasing team and coordinate order placement and procurement documentation

• Prepare purchase orders and requisitions in line with procedures and budgets
• Conduct market research and price comparisons to identify savings opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in procurement activities
• Analyse purchasing data and generate reports on spend, supplier performance and inventory metrics
• Communicate material requirements and delivery schedules with internal teams
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to maximise value
• Evaluate supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when needed

About the role

Culinary Adventures Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our facility in Lipa City, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing our procurement operations and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and supplies throughout our manufacturing and logistics operations. As Purchasing Supervisor, you will oversee purchasing activities, manage vendor relationships, and optimise inventory levels to support our business objectives and maintain operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate the purchasing team, including order placement, vendor management and procurement documentation
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable delivery of quality materials at competitive prices
3. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimise stock whilst minimising carrying costs
4. Prepare purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company procedures and budget allocations
5. Conduct market research and price comparisons to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
6. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and industry standards in all procurement activities
7. Analyse purchasing data and prepare reports on spending, supplier performance and inventory metrics
8. Communicate with internal departments to understand material requirements and delivery schedules
9. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the company
10. Manage supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when necessary
