Job summary

Cleamco Industrial Corporation in Quezon City seeks a Purchasing Supervisor to lead procurement of heavy equipment parts, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliant, cost-effective purchases.

You will review requisitions and POs, evaluate quotations, monitor deliveries, supervise a purchasing team, and coordinate with warehouse, accounting, and operations to maintain inventory levels and on-time material availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Automotive, or related field.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment parts, accessories, and related materials.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Good knowledge of supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, purchasing procedures, and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders, quotations, and other procurement documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Evaluate and negotiate supplier quotations, pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules to secure favorable terms.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and continuously develop potential new sources.
• Monitor supplier performance, including product quality, pricing, delivery reliability, and compliance with agreed terms.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, accounting, and other departments to ensure adequate inventory levels and timely availability of required materials and parts.
• Monitor inventory requirements and initiate procurement activities to prevent stock shortages and unnecessary overstocking.
• Review incoming deliveries and coordinate with concerned departments to ensure that items received are accurate, complete, and compliant with approved specifications.
• Monitor and resolve purchasing issues, including delayed deliveries, incorrect items, damaged materials, order modifications, and cancellations.
