Triton Constructions Development Corporation is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our procurement team in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time role focuses on sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services for projects.

The ideal candidate holds a related degree and 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, with strong negotiation skills and proficiency in procurement systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in procurement systems, inventory management software, and MS Office applications.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders with clear specs, quantities, and delivery requirements.
• Maintain supplier relationships and an approved vendors database with performance metrics.

About the role

Triton Constructions Development Corporation is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic procurement team. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. As Purchasing Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement function, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services essential to our construction and development operations. This position is strategically important to maintaining operational efficiency, controlling costs, and supporting the delivery of our projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favourable terms for materials, equipment, and services

• Preparing and issuing purchase orders, ensuring all specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements are clearly documented

• Managing supplier relationships and maintaining a database of approved vendors with performance metrics and rating systems

• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with project managers and site supervisors to ensure adequate stock availability

• Processing purchase requisitions and coordinating with finance and accounting departments for payment and invoice reconciliation

• Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies, budgetary constraints, and regulatory requirements

• Tracking delivery schedules and following up with suppliers to resolve delays or quality issues

• Preparing procurement reports, cost analyses, and recommendations for process improvements

• Liaising with project teams to understand material requirements and timeline demands

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction or manufacturing sector

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships

• Proficiency in procurement systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping

• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards is highly desirable

• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment and liaise across departments

• Familiarity with cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis
