RACKS (Cavallino Inc.) is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager with a strong background in F&B procurement and end-to-end supply chain management. You will lead sourcing, vendor relations, and inventory planning to support casual dining brands.
Lead supplier negotiations, monitor quality and delivery, and drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining compliance and sustainability across procurement activities.
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager with strong expertise in Food & Beverage (F&B) procurement and supply chain management. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sourcing, vendor management, cost control, and inventory planning.

Oversee the purchasing of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and other supplies.
Ensure the availability of necessary inventory while preventing overstocking or stockouts.
Monitor and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to optimize purchasing costs.
Work closely with vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Coordinate with the operations team to maintain proper inventory levels and order frequencies.
Implement inventory tracking systems to minimize waste and overstock.
Regularly review stock levels and lead times to anticipate future purchasing needs.
Work within allocated budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Monitor and manage purchasing expenses to maintain financial goals.
Develop strategies for cost-saving without compromising quality.
Collaborate with the logistics and operations team to streamline the supply chain process.
Work to resolve any supply chain issues that may arise, including delays, quality concerns, and discrepancies.
Forecast purchasing needs based on production schedules and market trends.
Ensure that all purchased goods meet the company standards for quality and ethical sourcing.
Stay updated on industry trends, including sustainability initiatives, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and contracts.
Analyze purchasing data to improve procurement strategies and processes.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Must have a knowledge and experience in using SAP Business One/SAP B1
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge or interest in the coffee industry and sustainability is a plus.
