Job summary

Crown Regency Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee all hotel procurement activities, ensuring the right products and services are acquired at the best price, quality, and delivery times. You will manage suppliers, costs, and procurement staff while ensuring policy compliance.

The role requires a strong background in purchasing within hospitality, with leadership experience and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years in purchasing/procurement, with supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Experience in hotel/hospitality purchasing preferred.
  • Knowledge of supplier sourcing, negotiation, inventory coordination, and cost control.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and purchasing/inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the Purchasing Department.
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Review purchase requests and ensure proper approval before procurement.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
  • Request and compare quotations from different suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Purchase hotel supplies, food and beverages, equipment, materials, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, Finance, and other departments regarding purchasing needs.
  • Monitor market prices and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with accredited suppliers and conduct supplier evaluations.

About the role
