Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or any technical field.
• Experience: 1-2 years in technical purchasing, sourcing, or technical administrative support.
• Key Skills: Read and interpret basic technical datasheets and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of local delivery tracking, courier coordination, and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate pricing for technical parts, machinery, and industrial supplies based on technical drawings, datasheets, or BOM.
• Review specifications and part numbers for accuracy before issuing POs.
• Request Quotations (RFQs) and compare vendor offers on price, lead time, and technical compliance.
• Monitor inbound delivery schedules and follow up with local suppliers and couriers to track shipments.
• Coordinate with receiving and warehouse teams to confirm receipt, correct item count, and intact quality.
• Help resolve item mismatches, missing parts, or order delays with vendors.

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Purchasing Assistant in Quezon City with a solid grasp of technical component specifications and basic logistics tracking. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing technical items against engineering specs while monitoring inbound shipments to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Sourcing & Purchasing:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate pricing for technical parts, machinery, and industrial supplies based on technical drawings, datasheets, or Bills of Materials (BOM).

  • Review specifications and part numbers for accuracy before issuing Purchase Orders (POs).

  • Request Quotations (RFQs) and compare vendor offers on price, lead time, and technical compliance.

• Minimal Logistics & Tracking:

  • Monitor inbound delivery schedules and follow up with local suppliers and couriers to track shipments.

  • Check delivery paperwork (Invoices, Packing Lists, Delivery Receipts) for basic accuracy.

  • Coordinate with receiving and warehouse teams to confirm receipt, correct item count, and intact quality.

  • Help resolve item mismatches, missing parts, or order delays with vendors.
