RLG ELECTRO MECHANICAL TRADING CORP. is looking for a detail-oriented Technical Purchasing Officer in the Philippines.

You will source, evaluate, and procure technical goods, equipment, machinery, and materials while maintaining strong vendor relationships and optimizing costs. The role requires reading technical drawings, 2–3 years in technical purchasing, and proficiency with ERP systems like SAP, NetSuite, or Odoo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in technical purchasing or industrial procurement.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
• Experience with ERP software (SAP, NetSuite, Odoo) and MS Excel.
• Excellent English and Tagalog communication skills.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Purchasing Officer to manage our technical procurement operations. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing technical equipment, industrial materials, tools, and spare parts while maintaining strong vendor relationships and optimizing procurement costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and procure technical goods, equipment, machinery, and industrial raw materials according to company specifications.
• Analyze technical specifications and architectural/engineering drawings provided by technical teams to ensure accurate sourcing.
• Request and evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local and overseas suppliers.
• Manage Purchase Orders (POs), track shipments, and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluations based on quality, reliability, pricing, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and procurement reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in technical purchasing, industrial procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, product specification sheets, and engineering documents.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.
• Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Odoo) and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Tagalog.
