Job summary

RLG Electro Mechanical Trading Corp in Calamba, Laguna seeks a detail-oriented Technical Purchasing Officer to oversee end-to-end procurement of technical equipment, spare parts, and machinery, coordinating with engineering and operations to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will conduct RFQs, negotiate terms with local and overseas suppliers, manage BOM readings, and maintain a qualified vendor database, with ERP and Excel proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience: 2–4 years in technical purchasing.
• Read engineering drawings, datasheets, and BOM.
• ERP proficiency: SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics; MS Excel.
• On-site in Calamba, Laguna.

• Source, evaluate, and procure technical materials, heavy machinery parts, tools, and engineering services.
• Review technical specifications with engineering and operations teams.
• Conduct RFQ, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local and overseas suppliers.
• Perform supplier audits, evaluate vendor performance, and maintain a qualified vendor database.
• Track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and coordinate with customs brokers for imports.
• Collaborate with inventory and warehouse to resolve quality discrepancies.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Purchasing Officer to manage the end-to-end procurement of technical equipment, spare parts, machinery, and specialized engineering services. Based in Calamba, Laguna, you will bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial negotiations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and procure technical materials, heavy machinery parts, tools, and engineering services.

• Review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and Material Requisitions (MR) alongside the engineering and operations teams.

• Conduct Request for Quotations (RFQ), negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local and overseas suppliers.

• Perform supplier audits, evaluate vendor performance, and maintain a qualified vendor database.

• Track purchase orders (PO) to ensure on-time delivery and coordinate with customs brokers for imported items when necessary.

• Collaborate with inventory and warehouse personnel to resolve quality discrepancies, returns, or warranty claims.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Supply Chain Management.

• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of technical purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial plant operations.

• Technical Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings, technical datasheets, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Software: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel.

• Location: Resident of or willing to work on-site in Calamba, Laguna.
