Job summary

DT Global in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day financial operations for a donor-funded program and support the Fiscal Agent Manager with accounting processes and internal controls.

You will handle payment requests, banking, budgeting, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring compliance with client requirements and DT Global standards while coordinating with the project team and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent desirable.
• Experience working on an automated accounting system.
• 4-8 years of progressive professional experience in accounting and financial management.
• Experience working on donor funded projects is highly desirable.
• Strong English reading, writing and speaking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Philippines citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day financial management and accounting activities for the program.
• Support the Fiscal Agent Manager in establishing and documenting payment and accounting processes and internal controls.
• Process payment requests and payroll; perform banking operations; monitor budgets.
• Record financial transactions and maintain accounts payable and fixed assets register.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations and reporting packages.
• Support audits and communications with the client and team.
