Job summary

Save the Children Philippines is hiring a Finance Assistant to support the financial management of the Philippine Sponsorship donor-funded program. The role ensures accurate processing of financial transactions, maintains documentation, and supports donor compliance in liaison with the Senior Finance Officer and program teams.

Based in the National Capital Region, the candidate will strengthen internal controls, enable audit readiness, and coordinate across field operations to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration.
• Knowledge of financial documentation, cash and bank transaction processing, liquidation review, expense tracking, and records management.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when processing financial transactions and supporting financial reporting requirements.
• Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to coordinate with field-based staff and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using financial or accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• The Finance Assistant provides dedicated support to financial management by ensuring accurate, timely processing of financial transactions and maintaining complete documentation.
• Support compliance with organizational and donor requirements, working with Senior Finance Officer, Finance Officer, program teams, and field staff.
• Contribute to strong internal controls, audit readiness, and efficient program implementation through effective finance administration and coordination across field operations.
