Job summary

Save the Children Philippines is seeking a Finance Officer to manage the financial operations of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with donor and internal policies. The role focuses on budget monitoring, reporting, and supporting sub-award partners in financial management.

Ideal candidates hold an accounting degree (CPA preferred) with 5–7 years in finance, including nonprofit exposure, and experience with grants management and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting, CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years in finance, including international/non-profit experience.
• Experience with grants management and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly budget vs. actual (BvA) reports and GL extracts for budget holders.
• Lead monthly BvA reviews and participate in budget meetings.
• Analyze monthly spending gaps for consolidation and forecasting.
• Prepare donor financial reports and attach required schedules (GL, etc.).
• Support partners in financial reporting and sub-award budgeting and compliance.
