Job summary

CITADEL Pacific Ltd. is seeking an experienced professional to lead Accounts Payable and Procurement activities in the Philippines. You will ensure timely processing of invoices, reconciliation of accounts, and drive process improvements across the AP team.

The role requires strong ERP knowledge, superb negotiation and leadership skills, including managing remote staff and relationships with vendors. A four-year degree in business-related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy, Management or related course.
• 5+ years procurement/supply chain experience with 1-2 years in supervision.
• Graduate of a four-year course, preferably business-related.
• Sound ERP and Supplier Relationship Management knowledge.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Excellent analytics and knowledge of_procurement and supply chain processes.
• Strong leadership, especially remote staff management.
• Excellent negotiation skills at high-level dealings.
• Able to establish credibility with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Process timely invoices: supplier, employee, and inter-company, per policy.
• Reconcile supplier, employee accounts and confirm inter-company balances.
• Improve AP processes within the team.
• Convert requisitions to purchase orders and dispatch to vendors on time.
• Track and renew/ renegotiate vendor contracts with lead time in mind.
• Set up vendor data accurately in the system.
• Collaborate to improve Procurement & Accounts Payable processes.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely processing of supplier invoices, employee invoices and inter-company invoices in line with companies' policies and procedures. Proper reconciliation of supplier accounts, employee accounts and confirmation of inter-company balances.
• Work continuously in improving the processes within the Account Payable team.
• Lead in ensuring the timely conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders, ensuring the dispatch of purchase orders to vendors and ensuring purchase orders are closed as per desired timeline.
• Manage the tracking of vendor contracts to ensure that there is enough lead time in the re-negotiation or renewal of the contracts.
• Manage the accurate set up of vendor data inside the system.
• Work continuously in improving the processes within the Procurement & Accounts Payable team.

Qualifications:

• BS Accountancy, Management or any related course
• 5+ years broad range experience in procurement and/or supply chain function with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position
• Graduate of a four year course, preferably business related
• Sound ERP and Supplier Relationship Management knowledge
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Powerpoint, Excel and Word
• Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes
• Excellent understanding of the business, ideally with an in-depth knowledge of customer service operation / Finance processes
• Excellent leadership skills especially in area of remote staff management.
• Excellent negotiation skills- at highest level (capable of representing business in major customer negotiation /complex payment / allocation issues)
• Able to establish credibility with internal /external customers able to tackle major customer related issues
