Job summary

deployedstaff is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage Accounts Payable, invoicing, and GST compliance across regional offices. The role includes reconciliations, fixed asset register maintenance, and assistance with monthly management reporting for the COO and ED.

Ideal candidates have NZ experience or Aus experience, familiarity with Xero, and strong accuracy under tight deadlines in a work-from-office setup.

Qualifications

• NZ accounting experience preferred; professional accounting qualifications desired but not required.
• Experience with accounts payable, invoicing, GST compliance and audits is essential.
• Familiarity with ISO processes and fixed asset registers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and assist with invoicing for regional offices.
• Prepare monthly reporting and monitor outstanding debtors.
• Reconcile GST/FBT and balance sheet accounts (bank, debtors, creditors, depreciation).
• Support COO with advisory and management reporting and journal entries.
• Handle fixed asset register maintenance and intercompany transactions.
• Contribute to general financial and management support and ad-hoc analyses.
